JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Supreme Court on Oct. 8, 2026 denied without comment Lisa Jo Chamberlin’s motion for rehearing, leaving in place the court’s Aug. 10, 2026 dismissal of her Third Petition for Post-Conviction Relief, WJTV reported.
The decision was reported by WJTV; the court issued no written comment with the denial.
WJTV identified Chamberlin as the only woman on Mississippi’s death row.
