Natchez Trace Parkway reopens 24-mile section between State Highways 16 and 19

The National Park Service announced a 24-mile section of the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi reopened on Oct. 30, 2026, after repairs were completed, WJTV reported.

The reopened segment runs between State Highway 16 and State Highway 19, the report said.

WJTV reported that a new detour is planned to take effect around a six-mile section of the parkway.
