Parolee escapes from Madison County Community Work Center, MDOC says

A parolee escaped from the Madison County Community Work Center on Sept. 27, 2026, the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) announced.

MDOC identified the escapee as Brandon Young, 38. The agency said Young is on parole for a felony driving under the influence conviction and was assigned earlier in September 2026 to the technical violation center (TVC) at the community work center.
