Army identifies U.S. soldier killed in Iraq training accident
The Army identified Sgt. Devin A. Seibel, 26, of Robinson, Texas, as the U.S. soldier who died May 31 at Erbil Airbase in Iraq, the Pentagon said.
The Pentagon said the death occurred during what it described as a military training accident that also killed a British Army soldier.
The Pentagon called the event a “training-related incident,” according to a statement released late Wednesday.
The statement did not provide further details about the circumstances of the incident or the identities of other service members involved, the Pentagon said.
