Several Democratic lawmakers are demanding answers after a report said a White House official intervened to secure a $620 million Pentagon loan for a company linked to President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.
The lawmakers said, “We write to demand a full explanation for what appears to be an egregious example of Trump administration corruption involving the White House delivering…”
The report prompted the lawmakers to call for a full explanation, according to the report. They are asking for details about the intervention and the connection between the loan and the company tied to Trump Jr.
