Bass, Raman projected to advance in Los Angeles mayoral race

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Democrat Nithya Raman are projected to face off in November to lead the nation’s second-largest city, Decision Desk HQ reported.

With 87 percent of votes counted, Bass had 34.68 percent and Raman had 27.12 percent, Decision Desk HQ said.

The projection was based on returns from the June 2 election, Decision Desk HQ said.
