Clark overcomes ankle scare, scores 29 as Fever move atop East
Caitlin Clark returned from an ankle scare to score 29 points and hand out 10 assists as the Indiana Fever beat the Dallas Wings 98-87 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, according to official game statistics.
Clark rolled her ankle late in the first half and hobbled to the locker room, but she started the second half and remained in the game, the Fever said. Indiana’s offense picked up in the second half after a slow opening period.

Kelsey Mitchell provided a boost for Indiana with 23 points, extending a franchise-record streak to 18 consecutive 20-point games, and Tyasha Harris was 4-for-4 from 3-point range, the official numbers show.
