Cornyn predicts post-midterm years will be ‘most miserable’ for Trump
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, predicted the two years after the November midterm elections would be “the most miserable two years” of President Donald Trump’s life, Cornyn told The New York Times.
The remark came in Cornyn’s first extensive interview since he was defeated in the Texas Republican primary by Attorney General Ken Paxton, The New York Times reported.
The newspaper said Paxton had been endorsed by Trump.
