Kennedy Center board appeals order to remove Trump’s name
The Kennedy Center board of trustees appealed a federal judge’s order to remove President Donald Trump’s name from the exterior of the building, according to court filings.
The appeal was filed Thursday just ahead of the judge’s deadline, court filings show.
The board had earlier that day voted to stay U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper’s order, according to the filings.
The court filings did not provide further details, according to the documents.
