Face the Nation Sept. 27 to feature interview with Iran’s Masoud Pezeshkian; Kennedy and Himes to appear

The Sept. 27, 2026 episode of “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan” will include an interview with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, CBS News said.

CBS News said the interview was taped before President Trump rejected the plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, according to a preview posted on Sept. 27, 2026.

The network also said the program will feature Republican Sen. John Kennedy and Democratic Rep. Jim Himes as the midterm elections approach.
