Fetterman, McCormick arrange Pennsylvania booth at D.C. fair after Shapiro cites lack of sponsor

U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., and Republican Dave McCormick, R-Pa., said they will organize Pennsylvania’s presence at The Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C., McCormick’s office said.

In a Saturday press release, McCormick’s office said Fetterman and McCormick had announced plans to oversee the booth after state officials were unable to secure a sponsoring business.

Gov. Josh Shapiro said state officials could not find a business to sponsor the Pennsylvania booth, according to the release and comments attributed to Shapiro.

McCormick’s office issued the information in the press release but did not provide additional details about funding, logistics or when the booth would open.
