Noah Kahan urges fans to use restrooms after incident at Philadelphia concert
Singer Noah Kahan issued a warning to concertgoers after a video surfaced showing debris on the floor during his show at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Saturday. The viral clip appeared to depict fecal matter near the seats, prompting the artist to speak out on social media.
Kahan, 29, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, urging fans to use restrooms before shows. He joked about his own on-stage mishap, saying, “I’ve pooped my pants as much as the next 29-year-old but you guys gotta understand there’s a venue worker out there with a 1,000-yard stare after dealing with that.”
The singer shared a TikTok clip showing floor seats surrounded by what appeared to be fecal matter. A user in the video questioned whether it might have been dirt tracked in by shoes, but another responded that security was yelling at a woman to go to the bathroom after she squatted and defecated on the floor.
During his next stop in Toronto on Sunday, Kahan asked fans to pledge against poor bathroom habits. In a video circulating on X, he asked concertgoers to recite, “I solemnly swear I will not s— my pants,” and promised he would not defecate on the floor himself.
Kahan released his fourth studio album, “The Great Divide,” in April, two years after earning a Grammy nomination for best new artist for his song “Stick Season.” His tour, which began earlier this month in Orlando, wraps up in Paris at the end of the year. Reports of unsanitary bathroom behavior at concerts have gained attention recently, with singer Olivia Rodrigo mentioning similar issues at live events.
