The House Rules Committee on Monday advanced the National Defense Authorization Act, sending the must-pass defense bill to the House floor for consideration, the committee said.
The committee reported out a rule by a vote of 8-4 that would merge the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act with the NDAA, according to the committee.
The measure now moves to the full House for consideration, the committee said.
