RFK Jr. says Cassidy’s claim that he broke promises ‘not true’
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Monday dismissed criticism from Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., that he has broken promises, calling the accusation “not true,” Kennedy said in an interview with NewsNation’s Anna Kooiman in Atlantic City, N.J.
Kennedy said he met with Cassidy roughly a month ago and told the Louisiana Republican that his critiques were untrue, according to the interview.
The comments came as Kennedy sought to rebut public criticism from Cassidy. Kennedy attributed his remarks and the account of the meeting to his conversation with Kooiman.
Kennedy did not elaborate further on the specifics of Cassidy’s accusations during the interview.
