An Iranian official on Wednesday dismissed reports of a proposed peace deal to end the U.S. conflict with Iran, referring to it as the ‘Americans’ wish list.’
Ebrahim Rezaei, a spokesperson for the Iranian parliament on national security, made the comment on the social platform X. He said, ‘Axios’ text is Americans’ wish list until it becomes reality.’
The remarks come amid ongoing international speculation about potential negotiations and diplomatic efforts related to Iran and the United States. Iranian officials have historically been cautious about publicly endorsing or dismissing peace initiatives.
Rezaei’s comments suggest skepticism about recent reports and indicate that Iran remains cautious about perceived U.S. intentions in any future negotiations.
