Michigan escapes upset, edges Western Michigan 13-12 on final-second Hail Mary

Michigan defeated Western Michigan 13-12 on Saturday at Michigan Stadium after quarterback Bryce Underwood connected on a 46-yard Hail Mary to JJ Buchanan on the game’s final play, according to the game’s play-by-play.

Michigan opened the scoring when Underwood punched in a 1-yard touchdown run, and the Wolverines led 7-6 at halftime after Western Michigan kicked two field goals, according to the play-by-play.
