Ravens to acquire Jacoby Brissett from Cardinals after injuries to Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley
The Baltimore Ravens are acquiring quarterback Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals after injuries to starters Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, ESPN reported Nov. 4, 2026.
Because the Ravens play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, the trade will not be finalized until the weekend, ESPN said.
The Ravens will start undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano on Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium against Jacksonville, though Fagnano suffered an ankle injury and was listed as limited on Monday’s estimated practice report before being upgraded to full participant on Tuesday, according to ESPN.
Fagnano completed 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards and one interception in the loss to the Buffalo Bills that left Baltimore 4-4 and in last place in the AFC North, ESPN reported.
Brissett started eight games for the Cardinals this season before being benched and was 2-5 with Arizona. He completed 63.3% of his passes for 1,719 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions, ESPN said.
ESPN reported Jackson suffered a thumb injury that may require season-ending surgery and that Huntley has a turf-toe injury. Brissett is expected to make his Ravens debut on Monday Night Football in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers, per ESPN.
