Sabato’s Crystal Ball moved its rating of the Ohio gubernatorial race to “leans Democratic” on Oct. 22, 2026, a change that improved the standing of Democratic nominee Amy Acton, The Hill reported.
Sabato’s Crystal Ball had previously rated the contest as a “toss up,” the forecaster said, according to The Hill.
The Hill reported the change followed a campaign ad from Republican nominee Vivek Ramaswamy that the outlet described as controversial.
