Sen. Kelly endorses Nancy Lacore in South Carolina House race

Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., endorsed Democrat Nancy Lacore on Wednesday, Kelly’s office said.

Her campaign said Lacore is a three-star admiral and served as the 16th chief of the Navy Reserve.

Her campaign also said she was fired last year by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth “without cause.”

Lacore is running to represent South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District, her campaign said.
