Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., endorsed South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson for governor after losing the initial GOP primary Tuesday, she told supporters after polls closed.

Wilson is South Carolina’s attorney general. Mace represents the state in the U.S. House and is a member of the Republican Party, as is Wilson.
