Tetairoa McMillan’s career night helped the Carolina Panthers beat the Detroit Lions 32-26 in Carolina, spoiling a 412-yard passing performance by Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
Fox News reported Oct. 5, 2026, that McMillan finished with 14 receptions for 192 yards and two touchdowns, including a toe‑tap sideline catch with under three minutes remaining that kept the decisive drive alive.
According to Fox News, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young completed 29 of 41 passes for 329 yards and two scores in Dave Canales’ quick, play-action scheme, and running back Chuba Hubbard rushed 20 times for 122 yards and two touchdowns.
Fox News wrote that Detroit fell to 2-2 after Goff went 32-of-52 for 412 yards and one touchdown; the Lions repeatedly stalled inside the red zone and settled for four field goals before a late touchdown narrowed the final margin as time expired.
