Utility department reporting “major outage” for Ashland residents

The utility department that services a large segment of Ashland residents is reporting a substation problem causing a major power outage.

According to Holly Springs utility department:

We are experience a major power outage affecting the South Holly Springs Substation and Ashland. Personnel are en route to the substation.

They have crews in route to work on the problem.
