HATTIESBURG, Miss. — A Hattiesburg man was arrested Sunday morning after calling 911 to report that he had fired shots on Hardy Street, the Hattiesburg Police Department said.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Hardy Street at approximately 6:15 a.m. and contacted James Matthew Barnes, 34, the department said.
Barnes was taken into custody, according to the police department.
The Hattiesburg Police Department did not immediately release information on any charges or injuries, the department said.
