Blue Mountain College hires new softball coach with SEC experience.

Blue Mountain College held a press conference on June 27th to announce their new head softball coach, Adam Kirkpatrick.

Kirkpatrick was an assistant at SEC member Missouri last year.

Kirkpatrick is a Pleasant Grove, Ala. native, that is working on his M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

“It has been a lifelong dream to coach in a setting where I can teach the sport, inspire others to reach their goals and to do so in a Christian environment,” Kirkpatrick said

During his coaching career , Kirkpatrick has seen players of his earn multiple collegiate All-American selections along with numerous All-Conference selections.

Kirkpatrick said he plans to continue to recruit high moral standing student athletes to BMC.

The new coach will inherit a pair of such players in Tippah County natives Chey Eaton and Lia Rogers from Walnut.
