Another One: Walnut Archery claims another MHSAA 1A state title
The Wildcats are in familiar territory.
The Walnut archery team has claimed a state title for the third straight year of competition, winning in 2019, 2021 and 2022 (2020 was cancelled)
The Cat archers turned in a score of 3313 to take the state title. Tremont came in second with a score of 3223.
Several Walnut archers turned in top scores.
Ann-Marie Jackson and Amber Roberson were the top female archers with a score of 276.
Wyatt Bayless shot a 284 for the top male and overall score.
The Wildcat archers are coached by Brian Quinn and Rodney Webb.
