Ashland church destroyed by fire

A Benton County church has been completely destroyed by fire. The blaze started last night.

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ashland was destroyed, apparently by a Lightning strike from the dangerous storms that were in the area last night.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the church and the community.

The storm system is supposed to strengthen Friday afternoon so take precautions now.
