Authorities seize nearly 100 gallons of moonshine

Mississippi authorities working with the Department of Revenue Alcoholic Beverage Control unit have seized one of the largest moonshine operation in history.

The ABC officers recovered 77 gallons of ready to distribute moonshine plus 300 gallons of “mash”.

The raid took place in Hancock County at the residence of Trent Necaise. Also seized was over $10,000 in cash and 875 pounds of sugar at the six barrel still.

Illegally distilling alcohol is a felony in Mississippi.
