Clinic with multiple Tippah location awarded six figure federal grants

North Mississippi primary healthcare, with locations in Ripley and Walnut, recently received 4 federal grants totaling more than $100,000 according to a press release from the Department of health and human services.

The giants were part of $1.4 million in grants awarded to Mississippi institutions and $125 million in grants awarded nationwide to qualified health centers. The grants were part of the Health Center quality improvement program.

1 in 5 rural Americans depend on HRSA- funded health centers for care. In Mississippi, that equates to nearly 600,000 residents.

North Mississippi primary healthcare is a regional institution with headquarters in Benton county.
