Hospital street closed as construction begins for new hospital, two detours available
Two detours are available after Hospital Street in Ripley has been closed to through traffic due to construction of the new hospital.
From TCH:
Due to the construction on the new hospital building, Hospital Street is now closed to traffic. There are two detours that you can take to get to the Nursing Homes. One route is via Terry Street and then turn right on Northwest Street and you will come out beside the Health Department.
The second route is down Market Street beside Thomas Wholesale Furniture and there is a temporary gravel road on the left that goes between the two nursing homes.
Hospital street will be permanently closed. A new permanent route will be built at a later date.
