Illegal immigrants involved in north Mississippi stabbing, fatal shooting

A fatal shooting that took place over the weekend and started with an altercation involving a stabbing was carried out between illegal immigrants according to the Corinth Police Department.

Juan Guzman and Montejo Torres got into an argument on Sunday in Corinth that resulted in Guzman stabbing Torres. Torres then pulled out a firearm and fatally shot Guzman in self defense.

Torres was taken to a local hospital to be treated. ICE officials will be contacted once he recovers.
