MDOT to Perform Road Work in Union County

The Mississippi Department of Transportation announced a traffic advisory due to work that will be done nightly on State Road 30 in Union County, starting on September 26. This work will continue until October 1.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY:

Overnight closures on State Route 30 in Union County

WHO:           The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

WHAT:         Temporary highway closures.

WHEN:         Nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, September 26, through Thursday, October 1.

WHERE:      State Route 30 at the Interstate 22 overpass in Union County.

WHY:           Paving work.

HOW:           Crews will work overnight to repave a section of State Route 30 at the Interstate 22 overpass in New Albany.

Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
