Report: North Tippah moves from ‘C’ to ‘A’ rated district
North Tippah school district has made a remarkable turnaround over the course of the last two school years. They are one of a handful of school systems to see such a stunning change in rating performance.
Since 2014, the school system had been rated a C district. This includes Falkner, Walnut and Chalybeate. In 2017, after the retirement of longtime Superintendent Junior Wooten, Bill Brand was selected as the new Superintendent for the district.
This jump in rankings is a testament to everyone involved in the north Tippah school district. Congrats to the leadership, the board, the teachers and all the staff as well as the students and their parents.
