Ripley man arrested on felony drug charges

A Ripley resident was recently accrested on drug charges for posessing a felony amount of methamphetamine.

According to the Booneville police:

On 03/08/2019, a Booneville patrol officer responded to a report of a suspicious person at a residence on Brewer Street. The officer arrived and located the suspect identified as Timmy Lee Vuncannon, 51 of Ripley. Investigation during the contact with Mr. Vuncannon resulted in the officer discovering Mr. Vuncannon to be in possession of a felony amount of methamphetamine, more than 1/10th of a gram but less than two grams. He was taken into custody and his bond was set at $5,000.00. This case will be presented to the Prentiss County grand jury.
