South Tippah school board election appears to be headed to runoff

Kerry Cockrell and Christina Kent Nunnally appear to be heading to a runoff on November 27th for the South Tippah School board district 4 election according to unofficial election results.

Cockrell received 48% of the vote while Nunnally received 26%. Palmer Jones received 25%. Since noone got 50% +1 vote, it heads to a runoff. Results will be finalized to determine exact vote tallies and if a runoff is needed.
