The Ripley public library is hiring for the position of branch manager/librarian.

The Northeast Regional Library is taking applications within the system for the Branch Manager/Librarian position at the Ripley Library.
The position is for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional night and Saturday work may also be required. An Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree is required. Comparable work time in a library setting may be substituted. The salary is $22,880 annually.
The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the use of computer programs (Excel, Word, Publisher) and the ability to work with the public with tact, courtesy and cheerfulness while assisting patrons with their book, DVD, and material selections as well as other reference resources.
