Tippah Animal Rescue group has saved 25 animals in last month
In the last month, the Animal Foster & Rescue of Tippah County has rescued 25 dogs and cats. Quite a few of those were puppies that have went on transports to homes in other states, but there are still 15 in foster care here.
They took in several donations of food, puppy pads, among other supplies and would like to extend their thanks to the community.
“This is what keeps us going. We can not continue without support from our community,” says Kayla Myers, a member of the rescue organization. Donations of dog and puppy food, puppy pads, cat and kitten food, are always in need and can be brought to Hill Dental in Ripley Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-2. Other arrangements can be made as well for donation drop off if necessary.
The Rescue is also hosting a yard sale on July 6th in Ripley at the storage buildings across from Crum’s Sandwich Shop. All funds/donations raised will be used for veterinarian care for the homeless cats and dogs of Tippah County. Please come out and show your support!
