The Hill reported on Sept. 17, 2026, that Economic Club chair David Rubenstein pressed Pence about whether he would consider another presidential bid.
The Hill’s article conveyed Pence’s statement; it did not provide further details about his future political activity beyond saying he had “no plans” to run in 2028.
