Tippah County approved for emergency loans for farmers

Tippah County has been listed as one of 45 counties designated as a natural disaster area and now eligible for emergency loans for our local farmers.

Farmers in Tippah County have 8 months to apply for the emergency loans. 

In the face of historic flooding and other factors, local farmers will be able to apply for loans as they deal with the loss of crops, land, equipment and more.

A disaster request was made by the Executive Director of the Mississippi Farm Service Agency in July and a letter approving the request was sent to the State of Mississippi this week.
