Tippah man wanted by police considered armed and dangerous

Walnut police made the following announcement regarding an armed and dangerous local resident.

⚠️WANTED WEDNESDAY ⚠️

Stephen Edgeston (28) is wanted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for burglary of an occupied dwelling wherein he stole a rifle.

Edgeston is considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.

He is described as a black male weighing 209-lbs, 5’9” tall, with brown eyes and black hair.
