Walmart and Kroger asks shoppers to no longer open carry
A series of moves were made by the nations two largest grocery chains yesterday aimed at gun owners.
Walmart will no longer be selling various types of ammunition, notably for handguns. Walmart had already stopped selling handguns and rifles such as the AR-15.
Both Kroger and Walmart will ask that customers no longer carry on store premises.
“We know these decisions will inconvenience some of our customers, and we hope they will understand,” Walmart CEO Doug McMillion said.
