Mississippi man escapes MDOC facilty

The MDOC is asking for the public to help locate a parolee who escaped a transitional facilty earlier today

Parolee Escapes Madison Transitional Center

The Mississippi Department of Corrections is seeking a parolee who fled the Madison County Transitional Center today.

James Wesley Lee, 39, was last seen about 11:15 a.m. wearing a white T-shirt and navy khaki pants with blue and gray tennis shoes. 

Lee, #L7022, was convicted in September 2014 of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute in Rankin County. He received a 20-year sentence with 15 years to serve and five years probation.

Lee was paroled in July 2017. After violating terms of his release, he was sentenced to the technical violation center at the Delta Correctional Facility and released on Oct. 12 to the Madison County Transitional Center.
