According to a report from the South Reporter in Holly Springs, the body of a white female was found leading police to investigate.
From the Reporter:
The body of a white female, probably in her late 20s, was found about 1:30 p.m. today (December 24) under the Coldwater Creek bridge on North Red Banks Road, according to Kelly McMillen with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
The body was located on the edge of the water and had been there probably five or six days. It is being investigated as a homicide.
