Tippah school feeding program while school is out suspended

The North and SouthTippah school feeding program while school is let out due to the coronavirus outbreak has been suspended.

From the STSD:

UPDATE:

Due to the increasing number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Tippah County, the South Tippah School District will suspend its feeding program for the week of March 23rd.

The situation will be reevaluated with information being communicated to the public on a weekly basis.

From NTSD:

North Tippah will be canceling the Grab and Go meals for this week due to multiple cases of COVID-19 in Tippah County and to minimize contact and diminish the chances of spreading the virus. Decisions for continuing the Grab and Go Meals will be made on a weekly basis. Thank you.

The school was providing grab and go and other meal options for school children while it was let out.

No timetable on when it might resume.
