Need a Haircut Salon in Ripley doing it’s part to lift Halloween spirits

The salon is hosting their annual Halloween Costume contest for 2020. Salon owner Cindy Holmes feels it’s more important this year than ever before.

“I feel like it means so much more to do the contest this year for the community. People need some fun and a little bit of normalcy,” Cindy stated.

Things will be a little different this year. For safety reasons related to COVID-19, some changes have been made.

In the past, costume participants have been invited to come inside to have their picture taken. This year, contest photos will be taken outside under the carport. On Halloween, which falls on a Saturday this year, kids and adults of all ages are invited to do “drive through” photos for the contest.

These changes will allow for social distancing to be maintained and other guidelines to continue to be followed, while still continuing this fun Halloween tradition.

As always, participation is free and open to all ages. For more information regarding contest rules and prizes, please visit the salon’s website at:
