Northeast announced it is accepting students for a new Evening and Weekend Practical Nursing (LPN) program designed for those balancing work and family. Admission is competitive and the application deadline is July 14.

Northeast announced a two-day virtual conference for educators June 8-9, offering sessions on technology in teaching. Registration is $25 and two continuing education units are available.

The Tiger Food Truck will give students a free pizza slice on campus tomorrow night, organizers said. Students need only show a student ID to receive a slice.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said technology is bringing concepts to life in its classrooms, offering hands-on experiences such as 3-D cell models and real-time anatomy study. The college urged prospective students to apply at nemcc.edu.
