The Tennessee Valley Authority awarded Northeast Mississippi Community College a $50,000 TVA ConnectED grant, the college said. The college said the funds will be used to replace critical network infrastructure across the campus.
The college said the upgrades will create stronger digital connectivity to support classroom instruction, healthcare simulation, cybersecurity, robotics, engineering technologies and workforce training.
The college said the grant reflects its belief that every student deserves access to technology that prepares them for the future. In a post, the college thanked TVA, saying, ‘Thank you, TVA, for investing in Northeast, in our students and in the future of Northeast Mississippi.’
