Northeast Mississippi Community College said golfer Olof Behle met Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff before a Cubs-Brewers game while competing at the NJCAA National Golf Tournament.
The college said Behle attended the game with Coach Derek DeVaughn and had a chance to meet Woodruff, who the college identified as a Wheeler native.
Behle is from Löddeköpinge, Sweden, the college said, and moments like the meeting with Woodruff are part of a new experience for him.
Northeast Mississippi Community College said it is proud to be part of Behle’s story and encouraged followers to check Northeast Tiger Athletics for updates as he competes at the national tournament.
