Northeast students earn record number of Microsoft Office Specialist certifications

Students in Business and Office Technology programs at Northeast earned a record number of Microsoft Office Specialist certification credentials, the school said.

Honorees include Cameron Hill of Baldwyn, Nathan Benjamin of Corinth, Alexis Petty of McNairy, David Goforth of Burnsville, Wyatt Goss of Greenville and Nathan Welch of Booneville; Christian Adams of Ripley, Xakira Duff of Corinth, Jolee Vanderford of Burnsville, Marley Helms of Blue Springs, Marly Stevenson of Jumpertown and Melissa Hudson of Corinth, the school said.

Not pictured are Brayden Seine of Glen, Justin McCoy of Booneville, Jennifer Barron of Guntown, Mary Worley of Booneville, Tarik Al-Qawwas of Corinth, Lathan Nunley of New Albany and Kevin Weaver of Corinth, the school said.

The school said the credentials give students real-world skills that can set them apart in the workforce.
