Northeast Mississippi Community College honors Dental Hygiene Class of 2026
Northeast Mississippi Community College recognized the achievements of its Dental Hygiene Class of 2026 at the college’s Student Awards Ceremony, the college said.
The college said the students demonstrated dedication, compassion and clinical excellence as they prepare to enter the health care field.
Award recipients, the college said, were: Faculty Choice Award, Skyla Adair; Colgate STAR Award, Bliss Ricketts; Perseverance Award, Allison Bastida; Radiology Award, Maddie Johnson; Sigma Phi Alpha, Bliss Ricketts and Kayley Drummond; Martha Johnson Dental Hygiene Award, Maryann Hammock; and Golden Scaler (highest clinic GPA), Bliss Ricketts.
The college also recognized Abby Hardin with the MDHA Award and Emilee Grisham from the Health Sciences Division, the college said. The college said the students “embody what it means to serve with skill, heart, and purpose” and are ready to make a lasting impact in their communities.
