PROPEL Community Fund awarded Brooke Roberts of Thrasher High School a tuition scholarship to Northeast Mississippi Community College, the fund said in an announcement.
PROPEL Community Fund said the scholarship is more than help with the cost of college and represents an investment in Roberts’ future and in Prentiss County.
The fund said local leaders are working through PROPEL to create opportunities that improve the quality of life in the community.
The announcement said supporting students like Roberts is one way PROPEL helps ensure talented young people can pursue their education and reach their goals. The release also named Thrasher School, Northeast Mississippi Community College and the CREATE Foundation.
